IDPA Holster Help for Sig P239
I'd like some recommendations on IDPA approved concealment holsters for a Sig P239 that are around $50 or less.
I like Safariland because of their suede lining, but their selection is limited for the P239. I prefer a paddle, but am willing to try a belt holster. Kydex or Leather...which is least likely to damage the finish? Any ideas? Thanks... |

Blade Tec, Fobus, Uncle Mike's, Comp Tac, are just a few of the Kydex holster makers. The Fobus and UMs are about $20. The other two are a little higher. The belt UM is not IDPA approved, but the paddle is. With the ammount of drawing/reholstering done in matches, any holster is going to wear the finish eventually. The kydex doesn't seem to wear the gun finish anymore than leather. The suede lining holds grit more than an unlined leather or kydex. My guns are shooters, I don't worry about the finish. Get a stainless game gun if wear bothers you that much.
