sight adjustment

Greetings! Is there a user friendly way to drift the rear sight on a Beretta 92? Have whacked it with a hammer and brass rod as hard as I dare and it won't budge. An inexpensive tool? Would this compromise value? Thanks to all. cec

Unless there is something out there that I don't know about, I have seen nospecial tools for this. Therear sight on Berettas is just plain stubborn. If you own on, you may want to try a dead blow hammer. DB's don't loose most of the hit energy when bouncing back. I have three Berettas and one need the sights drifted. I tried everything I had under two pounds and the sight wouldn't move, also. Success came from a brass drift and a four pound dead blow.

Good luck.
