"Colt Blackpowder" signature cased Dragoon?

What are these things going for today?

I don't think it's been shot...don't know if I should shoot it if'n I get it. It's very nice though. Colt logoed case and all accoutrements.

I've seen them as low as $600 and as high as $2500, the Colt name makes them a cult item. They will increase in value, if left unshot. Even though liscensed by Colt they were only finished by Colt and some models weren't even seen by a Colt smith. I hear they're great shooters and if I found one already shot or handled alot, I'd shoot it, but would have a hard time shooting one in pristine condition.

Colt didn't touch any of the sig. series. Fingers can probably give a real world value.

I could if I had my book with me. I'm in Wyoming right now.

Some of the CCH done on Sig seried guns was done by Colt's according to Dennis Russell's book on the 2nd Gens. Also, some Sig Series guns will letter. But they were just a very few Sig Series guns that Colt's bought to use as display pieces

So...a signature series is only worth slightly more than an equivalent Uberti?

The fit and finish does seem better.

I was recently offered just about a grand for an unfired Custer Commemorative 1861 .36 (without the case and accessories). I turned it down, then fired the gun about 18 rounds. The same potential buyer dropped his offer by more than $200 (with the case and accessories) because it was fired. I did not sell it. I'm glad I fired it.
That makes two Signature Series shooters that I have. They are much better than any Uberti I've owned.

I don't keep track of Sig series pistols or accessories; but, Blue Book lists the Sig Series Dragoons at $600 for NIB and $375 for 98%. Cases go for around $100 to $150 and accessory sets for around $150 to $200. I'd say that something between $650 and $750 would be reasonable
