Question On Remington 1100
hello i recently acquired a Remington 1100 and i have been looking for a pistol grip to put on it .i have found ones but none for the model 1100 .some shotguns have similar models that work with the same parts .are there any models that would be close to the 1100 .and does anyone know if any knoxx stocks would fit

The 1100 has a spring and tube running down inside the stock that precludes some stock options.
The good news, most of said options aren't worth having anyway. That includes a PG with no real stock attached. It's for the movies, not real life. If it's a deadly good defensive shotgun you seek, the 1100 is a good platform. Run a few hundred rounds through it to get used to it. Repeat that frequently. Voila!.... |

are you looking for a pistol grip only? or a pistol grip w/buttstock? good luck finding a pistol grip only. pistol grip w/buttstock can be found. speedfeed makes it. and hopefully choate tool still does. folding stock for the 1100 is possibly not available either. cheaperthandirt.com has a pistolgrip w/buttstock for the 11-87. i don't have an 11-87 to see if the one from dads 1100 will fit on it. or vice versa.

If you are indeed looking for a tactical stock with butt and pistol grip I can help. My favorite all time tactical is from a company called speedfeed and they make a standard pull as will as a short pull tactical stock for Rem 1100 type scatterguns.
Check out the; TAC IV and TAC IV-S Models. @ speedfeed.com I have also played with a Choate tactical stock and found it a bit clunky. PLEASE remember that this type of stock will completely change the handling chararistics of your scattergun and will significantly alter the way you wrap yourself around the gun. So in my humble opinion there has to be a REAL need to do this change! Good Luck & Be Safe

I use a Youth sized stock on my 1100 along with the smooth bore slug barrel. Maybe I should paint the stock black so it would be more "tactical"
 The only PG I've ever tried was on a friend's Mossberg 500 and I didn't like it at all. A PG/buttstock combo may not be too bad, but I've never tried one of those.
