Alliant power pro 2000 for .223 with 55 grain bullet
Question, gents...
The Alliant website says that power pro 2000 MR is for heavier weight .223 bullets. I have a supply of alliant power pro 2000mr, but all my projectiles are 55 grain bullets. All 20,000 of them, so I want to use them. The alliant website only lists recipes for 68 grain or heavier bullets.mwhat happens if I use the 55 grain bullets? Will the action not cycle? Will power be unburnt? Pressure too high? Does anyone have a recipe that I can use? Also, the website lists the barrel at 24 inches. I am shooting out of a 9inch M16 barrel. Will this be a problem? Thanks
