I got another Glock 23
...It's like coming home... Meprolights, extended slide lock, and lever, 3.5 lbs connector. It is simply the best darn handgun on the planet for over all reliability and defense.

Congrats! The 19 is one of my favorite guns of all time. I'm just not a huge fan of the .40... But I have owned 3 G23's, 2 G27's, and a G22 in the past.
These days I just run the 10mm->40s&w conversion barrel in my G20 for shooting .40 and it works perfectly.

I also prefer the Glock 23 and it was a no-brainer to get a Lone Wolf 40-9mm conversion barrel (which also works well in my Glock 27). Considering the dual caliber aspect I think the G23 is a better choice than the G19. It sure was a lot easier to find 40S&W than 9mm over the last year!

I also like my glock 23. I bought a .357 sig barrel and have a lot of fun making big noises.
Now I'm ready to get the 9mm conversion barrel. One question for folks on the forum. Do I need a glock 19 magazine, or the stock glock 23 magazine will work? Thanks. -TL |

Good job on the 23, it's my favorite and I've owned nearly every model they make.

Nice choice. I love mine with my 3.5lbs trigger with polished internals. Makes the gun much better. A 9mm conversion barrel is a must. You can have two guns for only $200 more

Congrats on the G23!
I've had mine since they introduced the G23,i've always been happy with the reliability of the pistol. I just recently purchased a 9mm barrel and G19 magazines to add a bit of versatility,i'll probably add a .357 sig barrel next. |

I have a few nice 1911s that I enjoy very much, a Browning Hi-Power that I also love (want more), but guess what my main carry gun is? G23, yes.

I'm in the market for a g23 just to compliment my sub2k .40- I've played with the g19 and g27 so I'm ok with the mid sized subcompac g23.
I'd also like to get some sorta .300 (insert here) magnum and replace the furniture. |

This is a great thread! I have a 17, 19, 26, and a 30. but having one gun in 40 that I can put a 9mm barrel on for practice is great but I also have a tool head for my press all set up with everything to load 357 Sig.
How did I not know this? How many excesses does a guy need to get another gun? Congrats on your new best toy!!! |
