Left Eyed Shooters Who Shoot Right Hand

My buddy made this for a friend who has a left master eye but who shoots
right handed.

Is that curve reenforced with metal? Seems that s curve would be a breaking point under recoil. I'm a left eye dominant right handed shooter. I haven't had any problems even though I have to use my weak eye. Now, if I were blind in the right eye, I'd be in trouble.

Stocks of that nature have been made before and are not new. Kudos to your friend who made it.

As a right-handed left eye dominant shooter I don't quite understand the need for such a monstrosity. It's a simple matter to adapt to the non dominant eye. I can't imagine that a gun in that configuration can do anything well.

I assume your friend tried a patch dot or scotch tape on his left shooting lense. Some of the top skeet shooters in the country patches their left eye. It just eliminates a lot of trouble with the right eye.
My skeet coach is blind in his right eye. He had a stroke 7 years ago and the right eye went away. He still shoots right handed left eye, but his leads on some of the birds were crazy!!! He had to lead like 7 feet for a high 4 I think. Anyway, the point is shooting left eye right hand is no bid deal.

My dad is left handed, left eyed and shoots right handed right eyed. Golfs right handed, too.

It's kind of funny what people will do to work with the tools at hand

I'm with Gary - I'd like to see a picture of that powder horn, too!

The rifle & horn was built by noted Missouri Gunmaker Richard Dale.
