Turkey shoot
I need help with ideas for prizes for my fire dept turkey shoot. Every year we put on turkey shoots to raise money for our volunteer fire dept and attendance has be dropping off every year. I think people are tired of our usual routine and I would like to spice things up. If you win a regular round you get a turkey, ham or ten dollars. Then we shoot a big money and little money round. I need help with prize ideas for the regular rounds.

Yep....local business donations are good. Local Wal-Marts, as much as many folks hate them, tend to be very generous when it comes to donating to local good causes. Giving prizes to shooters drawn at random and prizes for low scores and hitting random different colored/sized clay pigeons means that others besides the best shooters have a chance to go home with something. If attendance has been dropping off it may be because it's the same good shooters that take home the majority of the goodies. Having a chance to win something just for participating means more will participate more often. 50/50 raffles are also a good way to bring in a little extra cash and gives anybody with a buck or two to spare a chance to win big.
