Tanfoglio hooked trigger

I noticed the earlier models have a trigger more like the one on my CZ. Not a big fan of the hooked type, any way to install the flatter version, maybe from a CZ?

Do you mean a trigger with less curve??

If so, most any Tanfoglio trigger will fit (usually drop in) including the earlier models.
Among the Tanfoglio triggers that will fit are those sold for the following brands, all of which were actually made by Tanfoglio and/or assembled here in the US.
The Springfield P9.
The F.I.E. TZ series.
The Excam TA series.
The earlier to current EAA Witness. (Current triggers are curved).
Most of these models had the older, straighter trigger.

Note that most parts houses sell Tanfoglio parts under those brand names, BUT.... They may be buying newer parts and the triggers may be more curved. Be clear about what you need.

Installation is a big PITA since the entire action has to be disassembled to get the trigger assembly out of the frame.
This is NOT easy unless you know exactly how to do it.
Getting it apart is far easier than getting it back together, which can be a real problem.
Unless you have gunsmith skills, I recommend seeing a gunsmith for installation.

Thank you for the information. I may just try to get used to it, wasn't all that bad at the range yesterday. For some reason the CZ curved triggers don't agree with me, especially the 40P I had.

EAA: I am a Witness

I may have a 'spare' less-curved version around (since I prefer and installed the more-curved version on my trio).
It might then be for sale at a nominal charge......
