Rifle Cam

After searching for a little while, I found a cheap solution to mount a camera to my rifle. I bought a tripod adapter for my GoPro Hero 2 and a bicycle rail mount which fit my scope! It looks pretty good, and the rubber inserts on the mount makes it where it wont scratch your scope.

I haven't shot my rifle with it attached yet, but the recoil might make the camera move a little. Depending on the kind of rifle you have, and the recoil, this could be a great solution to taping your hunts, or just plinking. My scope is a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40. It is a 1 inch tube, so I'm not sure if this would work on a 30mm tube rifle scope.

Overall, this is a very cheap way to mount a camera to your scoped rifle. Let me know what you think, and if you have any questions about my setup. Here is the link for the mount.

I've toyed with the idea of mounting my Drift720 on my rifle for coyote using an offset picatinny mount on my DR200

For Camera's With Screens

Also if your camera has a screen, here is a good mount that looks through the scope.

Thanks for the link Mauser! I think I'll have to try this setup with my M&P15-22

Thanks, yeah I was going to say this one cost $7 and you don't have to go to some crazy site to find it. You can just pick one up off of amazon.

And Justice, post a picture if you try out this mount. I'm sure it will look cool on your M&P!
