I bought one of each.

I posted a thread on "what should I buy" re a Beretta 92FS stainless or a Sig P226 on several forums. There were so many responses concerning each handgun that I just went ahead and bought one of each.

I'll be loading up some rounds and heading to the range in the AM.

One nice thing about the Sig was that I already had a FBI Comptac holster for it. It fit a Sig 220ST I used to have, but sold.

Anyway, thanx for the responses.

A big 'Atta Boy to you.
Can't figure out which one to buy?
Get 'em all, sort it out later.
Way to go.

You'll be glad you did. I consider both to be essential for a complete collection. Both are staple full-size 9mms.

I loaded up a couple boxes of 124 grain Berry's plated bullets ahead of 5 grains Unique. This was just for a "reliability-see if anything going to break" range trip.

But I really like them both. I've had a bunch of Sigs, including a 226, so I knew what to expect. But they're both very good shooters.

I even loaded both mags to capacity (15 rounds) and did a two gun see-how-fast-I-can-empty-the-mag style. No jams or malfunctions. (That's not a real accurate way to shoot, I discovered.)

Again, thanx for all the suggestions.
