Anybody reload/shoot the 7.35 Carcano?
I picked up some bullets and brass from Grafs and plan to shoot my 7.35 Carcano. Ammo is non existent. I slugged my bore and the max is .300 and min is .288. The bullets are 130 grain and mike at .300. The only reloading data I can find is in Lee's manual. Thought, I would ask for any tips or inputs before I begin this endeavor. Thx

I see no problems, and there is data available for the 6.5 Carcano. I am a bit surprised there is any data at all for the 7.35 because until recently neither boxer primed cases nor .300" bullets were available. It should not present any reloading problems. Some have said you can use .30-30 data, but I have not tried that and so won't endorse it.
As always, start low and work up but not too far up. Jim |
