Long Trigger Pull on CZ 83
Recently acquired a mint condition CZ 83 (appears to be unfired) with original box and papers. Production date 1989. Love everything about this semi-auto except the long trigger pull when firing single action. Am used to the immediate trigger press/hammer release from my Kimber and Sig, but having difficulty adjusting to the exceptionally long trigger pull with my CZ. A couple of questions: Is this standard functioning for a CZ 83? Is this an easy fix for a skilled gunsmith? Should I just quit complaining and continuously fire this fine pistol until I master the trigger pull?

My CZ 83 also has a long soft single action. I don't know anybody trying to turn them into a 1911 but you might ask Cajun Gunworks, they do a lot with the CZ75.

CZ 83 - Long Trigger Pull
Thanks for the responses. Will not tinker with the trigger.
