Some very nice looking .44's. Here is mine, it solves the short sight radius issue for me and it is much easier for me to shoot accurately in this format. My eyesight isnt what it used to be and the one aiming point helps immensely. Lead hand loads only from 240 gr. SWC at 900 fps to 320 gr. WLNGC at 1200 fps. Its my backup for bowhunting and plan on taking her on a hog hunt soon.

Upside down

Crw34, your .44 is upside down, that must be hard to handle. I thought it was me and rotated my iPad 180deg, but then your darn .44 flipped upside down again. It's obviously an unwieldy handgun.

I think the Redhawk is the one that is still going to be working when all the others are worn out and gone.

Ran into a 3" SW M629 yesterday prices fairly. I was pleased, but am not in the market for a 44 Mag.

My flat top ruger is my favorite. But I do love my ruger srh. Depends on if you are packing or just range shooting. The model 29 is a fine revolver too.

I would get the Ruger Redhawk or the Ruger Redhawk Alaskan. The Rugers are made with a heavier steel, they handle recoil better and they are built to last a very long time.
