Hornady SST vs Ballistic Tip 150Gr.

Which is better, plain and simple.

Shooting out of a M 70 Featherweight Win. No further than 150 to 200 yards hunting.

Using IMR 4350, but am open top constructive criticism. Let me know someone.

My .223 likes SSTs better, my .270 likes Ballistic Tips. Try 'em both. Cartridge would be helpful.

The difference between the two is the Hornady SST is an interlock bullet. That means there's a ring near the base that is SUPPOSED to hold onto the core to prevent core/jacket separation. In my experience on about 15 whitetail kills, using both bullets, there's not a lot of difference in performance.

Since both have poly carbonate tips, they expand on just about anything they hit. But for deep penetration through tough muscle and bone get the interBOND or accubond.

They're going to get their butts kicked over there this election. How come people can't spell and use words correctly?

Not sure about the SST or BT but the interlock boat tail soft point perform very, very well out of my rifles. They are very accurate and so far are my favorite killing bullet. Others may perform better but with a higher price tag.
