"Filler Screws" For Henry Rifle Barrel?
Hi: I recently changed the stock sight on my Henry 22LR Octagon barrel rifle...This left two screw holes exposed...Does anyone know of a source for these screws? I contacted Henry and they do not have them...I can't imagine they would be too expensive...Thanks for the info...

Depends on size and pitch.
There are filler plugs for many common gun screws available. Check Brownells. For less common screws you have to make them. |

Perhaps Henry Rifle will have what you need. Its only a wasted email or phone call and with a little luck they may send them to you for free

Screws
I did contact Henry...They do not have them available...Think I will take the rifle over to the local gunshop and see if he has anything that will fit...

Most gunsmiths have an assortment of firearm screws and can find a plug screw to fill a screw hole.

8-40, IIRC - aka Marlin 336 scope mount hole filler screws.
Those D/T'd holes are the Henry prep for the Henry cantilever scope mount, since the Henry Brassie(s) don't have grooved receiver covers like the non-brassies. . |
