New sights for my XD45

Just wanted to post pics.

Fitting was pretty easy....I could explain, if anybody cares. I can tell you that I have fit other sights to an XD and these were the only ones that were a perfect fit. Heinie really knows what they are doing, but the sight installer needs to know too. There was more fitting than filing the dovetail bottom only.

I could give parts numbers and take better pics too if you care.

Many folks on this forum already know how to fit sights, but if you feel like educating the rest, it can't hurt.

That was what I was thinking too. Dawson has some pretty good videos and there is lots of other detail online. That is why I just trie to be clear that these Heinie's were real easy to get the fit right. They fit 1/4 of the way in to start and some file massaging finished it up nice.
