Charles Daly Field Piston and Piston Buffer orientation
Anyone know the proper orientation, I've currently got the buffer with the smaller ring down(slotted end up). And the piston with the smaller ring up.

I'm sure Ive got the piston(the top gray piece) in correctly. You cant see all of the bottom piece(piston buffer) but it has a smaller inner springed sleeve, that I have intalled toward the receiver. Does it matter which way it's installed? It doesnt always cycle well. I guess I can just flip it and see if it makes a difference.
