Great looking Remington on sale at Cabela's

Great looking pistol! I'm not in the market for a Remington but if I were it strikes me as a good price no?

Well, █████. I was saving my cabelas bucks for a stainless 5.5 remmie. Now what do I do?

That is an excellent price on a damn good looking Remmie.

Here's an idea

Bill,

Trade in your kids and buy them both.

Did any of the original 58s come with checkered grips and/or case hardening?

No. More of Pietta's fantasy pieces that never were.

Doubt it but sheesh, it sure looks great. This particular finish would be perfect for a model with sights I must say.

I'm still waffling over it...I've got a Remington and I want a Walker or Whitneyville Dragoon but the price, the price...

Cheers,
Oly

Yeah, I already have a 58. I think I need an 1860 next.
