Know of any light weight .44 DEWC molds?
I've been wanting a "super light" DEWC (double-ended wad cutter) for .44 Mag use, for quite some time. I haven't been able to find anything that fits the bill, though.
A 'button' nose is acceptable, but it has to have a wide meplat and be a true 'double-ended' (symmetrical) design. Pretty much anything from 80 gr to 110 gr would work. - Lube groove style doesn't matter. Does anyone here know of a mold that would fit the bill? Just for a point of reference, this is a 113 gr design I drew: I have a few designs drawn up, ranging from 70 gr to 115 gr. But, I don't want to have to talk Tom (Accurate Molds) into cutting them, unless I don't have any other option. -These designs would require special mold prep, since his normal bore holes and relief cuts are too deep. And, he normally only mills and preps his blocks every few months.

I wonder if the accurate mold guy would trim one of his designs down to what you want?

I'm sure he could, but it would probably be easier to send him my own drawings.
Tom uses a bit of "artistic license" when design modifications are requested. If his idea of what you want doesn't match your idea of what you want, it can take a while to work out the details. So... If there's a specific design in mind, it's easier to just have him add a new bullet to the catalog (based on your drawing). Thanks for the reply.
