My 45 has been smithed and slide tighten, I don't think the small primer is a good idea because of a off center firing pin. I have several thousand large primer cases in my inventory, I hope I have enough. William

I don't think that off-center firing pins could be such a general problem that it would lead to a lot of reliability issues with small primers in .45 ACP brass. If it was, then the folks making the small primer brass would not be able to sell ammo and cases, so that product would not be a money maker and would die-off, naturally.

We shall see. I know that I won't be buying any small primer ammo, then I won't be buying any large primer ammo either.
