I've used H335 with good results. I'm almost out of it, so I'm going to start working up loads for IMR4895 and AA2230, since I've got eight pounds of each.

Can't go wrong with those two.

I use BL C2, it's slower than H335 which I use to use. Have a can of CFE223 that looks promising.

H-335 gets used more than anything else. Gives tack triving accuracy with 55 grain bullets. Reloader 15, and Varget are the go to for 68 to 77 grain bullets. Both work pretty much about the same for me.

I don't know if they're required, but they're acceptable. I use the CCI #41 NATO primers for their harder cups, but they also use a magnum priming compound.

I just started shooting .223, and I have 5000 Wolf SR primers and 1000 Federals, and maybe some others out in a footlocker in the garage, but none of them are magnum primers. I'm starting out with Varget and AA2520, but may order some WC-844 or CFE-223. I think the Varget will be OK with regular SR primers but don't know about the others.

H335 provides great accuracy with my 52 - 55 grain match bullets and meters very consistently. I tried the above mentioned Varget and it was the worst metering powder I've ever used for the .223.

The few loads I have tried with VV N133 has resulted in some of the most accurate loads I have fired.

H322 and Benchmark are two others that have worked extremely well for me.

748 about 90% of the time (flows so well). Then varget (lots of concussion out of a shorter barrel), and last, one of the 4895s (works very well, don't know why I don't use them more).
