Problem with Pachmayr grips
The last two sets of Pachmayr Presentation grips I have purchased fit terribly.
The first set was for a Ruger Blackhawk and the latest for a S&W 15-3. Both grips have had excessive rubber flashing and a big gap on the front of the grips and no positive stop for the screw. I don't remember having such problems with my older Pachmayr grips. I agree that the looks of rubber grips on revolvers isn't the greatest, but when the fit is lousy it becomes unacceptable. I am more of a function over form guy,but I draw the line somewhere. I have never had an issue up to this point with Hogue, but they don't make a grip that covers the backstrap on a K frame. Anyone else experiencing similar issues? |
