Need a new IDPA piece
The Hungarian Highpower I have been shooting since about 1996 is pretty much worn out, so I am going to treat myself to a new piece for my birthday. Leaning toward M&P, don't really like the Glock grip angle, but open to suggestions. I suffer from chronic cheapbastardism, so HK's, Wilsons etc. are probably out.

Turkish fake BHP?
Better a CZ 75 for something not too different. I normally shoot 1911 but must admit that a cheap 1911 is a bit of a crapshoot. I have a satisfactory S&W and there are all manner of other non-glock plastic pistols. A friend does well with XD and I see some Sigs. |

I've been shooting BUG for the last four years; any interest in that?

Canik TP9SFx, $650 retail, $550 anywhere, and I paid $450 for mine. Comes with 3 mags, optic plates, even the holster. Runs like a dream, fast and accurate.
