Question about selling a machinegun
I have 2 machineguns that I am looking to sell. I have a friend who lives near me in Wisconsin and wants to purchase 1 of my guns. I know all the NFA rules and can fill out the Form 4 etc. My question to someone is, do I need to go through a class 3 dealer for this to happen? Can I just do the transfer myself?

If you live in Wisconsin and the buyer lives in Wisconsin, you can form 4 direct to him.
You see dealers do transfers when the buyer and the gun are in seperate states. |
