I saw an article on those once online, but I can't remember where. It is apparantly almost recoiless (for a 12 ga), and was tested in a minor way in Iraq.

I'll try and find that article.

A nice piece of equipment and an impressive video.

Actually the idea has been around for a while. Rock River made them in the late 60's for the SEALS.

three inch?

Looks like an awsome weapon. Very similar to the USAS-12. What I wonder is if it will shot 3" Mag rounds. The USAS won't. It's 2 3/4 only.
Also I would sure like to see a deminstration of those explosive rounds.

The Atchison is a 2 3/4" gun, too, according to the spec sheet in the article.

One of Don Pendelton's characters (Carl Lyons) in the fictional novel series "Able Team" used one with great effect.

Meh, it's cool but I don't like the way the magazine mounts too it. I think a select-fire USAS would fill this niche a little better.

Meh, I'd rather the USAS-12!

Select fire M-16 Shotgun, Priceless ...

How about a belt-fed SAW varient, or upper for an implaced defensive weapon ...
