dress gun belt
I am in the market for a 1.25" gun belt. I want a nice looking, black belt that will be stiff/strong enough to support a loaded BHP. I carry a G-19, but I also have a BHP. I've heard about the Beltman's line, any reviews?

I can't speak to The Beltman, although I've read good reports on this Forum, but I've got two 1-1/4" belts from Don Hume that are good looking and sturdy enough to support my Kimber TLE II and H&K USP 45. Good quality and affordable.

Ive have a 1.5 inch beltman belt that ive been wearing everyday for almost 2 years and it still looks great. I can't speak highly enough of the quality your getting when you order a belt from him.

Like you, I was looking for the same belt and I decided to order from The Beltman. Don't have it yet, probably two more weeks but from all the reviews I've read it sounds like a great belt. Feel free to call him to discuss your needs, I did. He was very helpful on the phone...

belted
I suggest a belt that provides a 'stiffening' material at the gun location (especially for the 1.25" belts).
Often a piece of plastic is installed between the layers right where the holsters sit. I, too, have a Hume (1.5") that I've worn for some years, along with a Hellweg. The Hume finish is more worn than the Hellweg, but at 1/3 the cost......
