.357 Automag load data
Anyone got any? Especially w/ chrono data.
My buddy has one, and has only 30 yr. old load data. Any help appreciated.

I have an unfired 44 automag, so no real practical experience here but a lot of informed opinions.
I suggest you take the old loading data and download it at least 15% and then work up a load very gradually that will run the action. Your goal should be the minimum power necessary for 100% functioning. Too much and you beat the gun apart unnecessarily. Also keep your recoil spring screws tight. Finally price a new cocking block and a bolt before you decide to turn your 357 into a rifle. If you can afford to replace them, then what the heck have fun and please post your results. If not, then go light.
