Pietta 1860 army new $185 shipped!
I can't resist Cabelas sales and bought this gun at $199.00 last month - a steal! They are now on backorder and I have found another pistol I would like to buy so something has to go ASAP. I am offering mine - untouched - for 185 FREE shipping priority mail in order to make a quick sale. This gun is pristine in the original plastic wrapper soaked in oil. First come first served here - a beautiful piece. You can see it at the Cabelas site if you need a picture - NOT A BRASS gun. Email me at santacaferacer@excite. I take and prefer paypal although postal money order is fine.

Those SOBs
They got me on the 1863 Remington.
Any time you can get a revolver for two thirds its normal price is time to buy a revolvers for someone. The sale on the 1860 Colt and 1858 Remington has been going on for a long time.

Same here, I've had an 1860 for 30 years, and I electroless nickel plated it 30 years ago. I also have a newer Sheriff's model 1860. Bill

Erich
You owe it to yourself. You were a good guy this week, right? Go order one. You deserve it.
I teach business in college. Those guys at Cabela's are geniuses. Unless it is an accident, they are working their supply chain to manipulate their demand model. The nice thing about it is that it is win-win. If I never shoot that .31 Remington, I will still be happy I bought it. What amazes me is that there are still some folks on GB who are listing revolvers for higher prices used, than you can buy them new.

Cabela's - ordered a pocket remington for my wife,,,can't beat that price. I got the email today telling me it's at the East Hartford store as I ordered. We were heading up that way today anyway so I figured we'd pick the gun up - after an hour's drive we pull in and the store was closed due to concerns about the snow load on the roof.
Good thing we didn't make the trip for that reason alone. |
