SMK's vs. SGK's

If I've been shooting 168 grn. SMK's and if I decided to go hunting and loaded 168 grn. SGK's any one know if the ballistics results would be close to the same.

Match bullets have thinner jackets, which are easier to make precise, but the difference isn't usually noticeable for hunting purposes. So, as long as you pick two bullets with the same ballistic coefficients and weights, their trajectories will be very close to the same.

Thanks for the info. It would be a hassle to sight in my rifle so I can hunt.

Why is it a hassle to sight in your gun. You could call it practice.

Anytime you change anything you should shoot the gun to see what happens.
