got to tell everyone about remingtons new rifled turkey tube.i went from 38 pellets in the head at 30 yards with federal #5 with the stardard factory tube to 62 pellets in the head.at 40 yards i got 54 hits and at the 50 yard mark i got 32 hits.this is unbeliveable.i have been a turkey hunter all my life and must have gone through 10 shotguns and over 50 chokes over the years.the pattern this choke makes is very concentric and shot to the same point of impact as my standard remington tube.remington says it is a .660 constriction and says all turkey loads will work in them.at $30 bucks its a bargain.TURKEYS BEWARE!!!!THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING.

Hello gunmart, sorry it took me so long, but here I am; a fellow Turkey Hunter.

I've been hunting with an 870 with a standard turkey choke for about 4 or 5 years. I'm real interested in learning more about this rifled choke tube.

Haven't patterned my gun in a few years though. What was the constriction on the standard factory tube you compared the new one to?

I use a Hastings Turkey choke Compensated for 3" mag on a M120 Winchester plastic WAA wad reloads with an optical sight... but I can't match that!

Rifled choke-tubes are usually only used for slugs, surely.

But if it works I may give it a go....

guys this tube is strait rifled and not to be confused with conventional rifleings.the constriction of a factory ex full is .660 and this tube is also .....660.the difference in the tighness and uniformity of the pattern is amazing.its a must try for anyone serious about hunting turks.ive tried everything out there and this one beats them all.try it you might like it.
