Replacing S&W 640 front sight.

How hard is it to replace a S&W 640 front sight with a Ashley Express sight? Is it just a matter of removing the retaining pin and installing the new sight? Or should this be left to a smith?

I haven't seen this particular Ashley sight but it should be just a matter of removing the pin, probably drilling a hole in the new sight using the ramp as a jig and replacing the pin. George
