I'm with Uncle Ed, the Model 15 is truly the most elegant revolver in the world. Second is the Model 67, which happens to be my favorite and best shooter of all my revolvers. One of these days the stars will align and I'll find the right Model 15 and have the cash at the same time. As much as I love my Model 67, it just can't compare to a nice blued gun for looks.

Here is a nice tapered barrel model 10.
This heavy barrel model 10 is just like the one I was issued in 1966 when I joined the Michigan State Police. This model 36 heavy 3´barrel would be a great off duty gun (still is a nice gun to carry in the right holster). This "L" frame model 581 does a fantastic job with .357 Magnum rounds. Don't worry at all about shooting heavy rounds in it. This model 15 is a great companion for a 30-30 carbine for patrol in the 60s. This model 66 with the Michigan State Police logo on the right side, was issued to Troopers who shot distinguished expert (not me I bought this from the widow of our range officer). Boy, this thread really brings back memories. Thanks for the members who have added to it. Trooper Joe |

A few of my .38s...
My circa mid 1920s Hand Ejector. Very fun gun to shoot... My 1968 Colt Official Police, 6". Incredibly smooth trigger on this one. My mid 1960s (IIRC) Model 12 snub. Lots of fun to shoot. The .38s I don't have pictures of are my S&W 042 Centennial Airweight, my S&W Model 38 Humpback, my S&W Model 36 3", and my Charter Arms Undercover, my very first .38 Special.

The S&W 67-3 was a police trade in from the Grand Marianas Islands. It's a real sweet shooter, the hammer nose bushing is a little wallered out though.
The Intetarms Rossi was an impulse buy. It's tight, shoots well and I trust it. It was definitely carried by a previous owner. Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk |

My oldest .38 Special. This 1899 Target Model was made in 1901 and still shoots very well.
A trio of Combat Masterpieces: Baby Chief, acquired from a retired cop: And the .38 I am the most accurate with, 1950 K38 Masterpiece. |

Picked up this 1973 Dick Special a couple of weeks ago for a penny less than 400 bucks:

Highpower,
Your "trio" is truly a masterpiece. And Jaycee, I hope you're doing penance for for the next ten years for such a "penny" steal. |
