What is a very nice 36 worth?
Jut came across a very nice SW 36, flat latch, diamond grips, 350XXX number. I think this might be a good one and it has round grips too. He is asking about $600 for this one. Yea or Nay?

I'd say $500 tops, though he could probably get $600 if it was in California.

I've been shopping a M36 for a friend of the wife unit. Beaters are $350 to 400, pristine can go over $600 if it has box and papers. I keep getting outbid on Gunbroker on every one I bid on. Trying to stay under $400 for something with moderate holster wear.

Just before the buying frenzy I picked up a model 36 no dash in good condition with minimal wear for $275.00 at my LGS.
$600.00 is kinda high for a model 36. |

In "the new normal" of what is going on right now prices are creeping (jumping?) up all over the country on firearms.
Gun shop and show prices have been getting stupid here in Northern Virginia. I'd buy truckloads of Model 36s if I could find them as cheap as $350. One as you describe I would not at all be surprised to see on a shelf or table for $600.
