357 buffalo bore 125gr hollow points

I heard this was some good stuff has any tried or had experiecne with this ammo?

Buffalo Bore uses Montana Gold bullets which are not known for expanding well. I carry the .357 Mag Buffalo Bore 180 grain hardcast loads when I am camping or hiking, but I wouldn't use their hollow points.

Underwood Ammo loads their stuff super hot and they use Gold Dots. I know their .357 Mag 158 grain bullets did not live up to their advertised velocity and Underwood is aware of this and fixing the problem, but one guy said he chronographed the 125 grain bullets at 1545 fps out of a 4" barrel. I've also seen videos of their other calibers reaching or exceeding their advertised velocities.

Extreme velocity is not the answer to getting a hollow point to expand. It was in the early days but there are many newer bullet designs that will expand reliably at velocities that are much easier on the gun's forcing cone. The Speer Gold Dot in one that I have tested extensively and it WILL expand at 850 FPS. Trying to push a light bullet at 1400 FPS just wastes powder and beats the gun up.

I'll add that it most often slows down an accurate double-tap as well.
