Received the May issue..Well, NOT REALLY
This is is how the USPS delivered it. Just half the front cover in a plastic bag with a printed statement that they appologize of the condition it was in.
My thought is where is the rest of the magazine? Was it shredded or damaged beyond the capability of sending it with the cover? Was is missing altogether? Was it stolen? I called SWAT mag customer service and the lady said she'll get another issue out to me. Hopefully faster than the 4 weeks she said it will take. |

any thoughts on the cylinder gap article?
Hi, all. I wrote that piece and am wondering if that type of subject matter is interesting to the readership, or not so much. Denny was kind enough to print it and I might try my hand at some other writing if people found it worthwhile. However, I don't want to do it if people find it contrary to the style of the magazine. Regards.

Hey you know that's weird. I sent a check into the NRA-ILA organization, and I got the parcel back all mangled up with the same BS apology. You think it's some kind of conspiracy amongst pissed off mail carriers tired of being mistaken for targets by disgruntled fellow employees?
Seriously though, do you. Cause i've never had a mangled letter before that NRA support check. |

Anyway, I liked the article, and in my opinion it suits SWAT just fine, not as the majority of content, but as interesting complimentary content. (If that reasoning was understandable...) |

I guess you can say that alot of which was developed after 9-11 for the security and efficiency of what is done in this country has actually made things less secure and less efficient than before 9-11.

Nuke-em-
Missed your post, sorry. Post 9-11 we saw several Anthrax scares. USPS thereafter installed new high speed "sorters" which I've always suspected have something to do with lessening the amount of human exposure to mail. They eat magazines for breakfast. Rich
