Help posting pictures of new rifle

I just bought a new Kimber custom n S/S with Super America wood and can't seem to load any pictures because the file size is too big. In fact every picture I have from my phone, or the camera is too big and exceeds the file size for this forum. Can anyone clue me how to save an image file into another app that reduces the file size? Or maybe someone can tell me how to get the pictures on my posts?

Use Photo Gallery (on a Windoze machine) and select the resize button under edit.
