New Vortex Rifle Scope

Got an email from Euro optic letting me know I can pre order a new Vortex scope. Pretty sweet scope for sure. Especially at the price... 110 MOA Elevation adjustment, 47 MOA per rotation and FFP! Here is a link.

Still out of my price range (I'm a cheapskate) but pretty impressive specs for the price.

Appreciate the heads up, Kilo!

I've been doing some serious scope shopping lately. Someone steered me to Arken Optics.
www.arkenopticsusa.com
I'm really stuck on their EP4 6-25X50 FFP MOA SHR
These things are getting some really good reveiws lately.
Being compared to the Vortex Razor, Steiner M7, and Schmitt & Benders.
For under $600.

I have heard good things about Arken recently as well. I am very happy with the Vortex Viper HST I bought a couple months ago. It's a really solid optic for the price. I really, really wish the optic I linked above was out then. It is literally the same price as the HST 6-24x50 that I bought.

This new one is basically a Viper PST Gen 2 with a 34 mm tube instead of a 30.

I’m going out on a limb and guess you’re not interested in a 6-60 March then?

So, i'm kinda conflicted.
The reviews on Arken are good.
Glass from Japan.
Finally heard back from them last night as to where they are made.
Yup, China.
Still, sub $600 being compared to Steiner, Schmitt & Bender.

If I head out Route 6 I am probably 90 minutes or so. Been a long time since I have been out that way. Takes me 45 minutes or so to get to Wysox

So.e of them are made in the Philippines, others are China. I am not sure why some people hate Vortex. All of mine have been excellent for their respective price.

I have a couple Vortex scopes and they're very nice, don't know why people hate them.

Their low end stuff isn't the greatest but most scope companies don't put a lot of money into theirs either. If they do, it's still priced higher than average for them to make money.

I don't hate Vortex, just seen too many of them have issues.
Their Razor HD series scopes are good, their cheaper ones, not so much.
