Daewoo Trifecta
It took longer than I expected, but I have finally managed to collect all 3.
K1A1 K2 DR200

I always liked the Daewoo designs, but money was always going somewhere else when I saw one available.
Spare parts...what's the availability?

I managed to acquire some spare parts back when they were available, and the DR200 has a secondary purpose... that's to keep the K2 going if it ever breaks.

I would buy one of them if the price was more reasonable. Like if they were imported again. I'd be willing to pay around 1k for one.

The current asking prices for all of these rifles are higher than anyone imagined they could get, and they are still increasing in value. I am glad I acquired mine before values skyrocketed.

Isn't there a Daewoo pistol somewhere? Not to give you something else to spend more money on...

There are Woo pistols, appliances, cars, and heavy equipment, but I'll still with the rifles.
Here is one they never made.

What they sold for new, and what they are selling for today are both amazing...
![]() there is a new in the box DR-200 available locally, and the man is asking $2100 ![]() That's more than I paid for any of the three I own. Daewoo pistols don't interest me, but I do like their rifles.

I picked up some newly designed charging handles for my Woos... I'll post images and a quick review soon.

Interesting weapon--looks like they took an AR, an M1 and an AK and put them in a blender.

What year was that advert?
It's also interesting where it was being sold...

The closest I ever got to owning a Daewoo was when a dealer at a gun show offered to trade me one straight across for my HK 91.
I walked away, laughing....

Seems when I passed on a Daewoo, I had also passed on a Steyr AUG; damn 20-20 hindsight
