Without an attachment, you'd have to put the pic at a hosting site such as photobucket.

Brian is correct.
Go to:
www.photobucket.com

Set up an account. Adding photos is easy now. You just drag them to the spot that says: Drag Photos here.
After it is on the site. You select that photo.
When it opens on the right side of the screen you will see:

Links to share this photo

In that box you choose:

Direct.

When you click in the box were the link is it will auto copy.

Then in the message you want to add the photo to just paste that link in the box provided while adding a photo.

Wala.. Easy peasy.

So if I want to post a pic I have to open an account at another site. Load the pic on said other site then transfer the pic to this site. Yeah right.

No, that's what you'd have to do if you wanted to post the pic WITHOUT IT BEING AN ATTACHMENT.

If you use attachments, which 99% of everybody does, you do it this way.

Download a free picture editing program like Picassa.

You can resize pictures pretty easily.

Photo Gallery, which I believe is included with Windoze, will resize photos very easily. Simply open the photo and click Properties, slightly left of center in the "Organize" section. Under Properties, click resize and make your adjustments.
