.45 Colt SAA Firing Pin

Greetings:

New poster here. I have a question regarding my new 3rd gen. Colt SAA. If I need to seek the answer in another forum please direct me. I have a 2nd gen. Colt SAA and the firing pin on the hammer is fixed tight...doesn't move. On my newly acquired 3rd gen. Colt SAA the "pin" moves around a bit. Was this an upgrade specific to 3rd gen. SAA's or is this a defect? I shot the pistol todey and it shoots just fine.

Thanks,

Chuck

it's just an easy way to get good alignment of the pin in his hole!
It's drive in by the conical part of it
Don't worry, my SAA by Pietta work in the same way and work well!
ciao
