what can i do?

i recently got a remington 700 adl varmit in .223 what type of competitions could i do and what should i expect from this gun?

Hmm, probably has a 12 twist and is not going to be a Long Range rifle.

You could shoot it in F Class Midrange matches off a bipod.

There is an obscure NRA Sporting Rifle category for bullseye shooting.

There are probably some "tactical" matches run within its useful range.

You could check out the silhouette shoots.
I think however the "hunting" category says no "varmint/bull barrels".

But there should be some class somewhere to do some shooting...

well i bought it primary as a woodchuck gun and have already held 3 1/2 inch groups at 400 yards with has severly exceeded my expectations for factory loads,
