Lee Hand Press modifications?

Believe it or not, I've reloaded about 6000 rounds through this thing in a year.

I'm frankly tired of my hand cramping up. Anyone tweak their press to make it more comfortable?

I've done about that same number the last 8 months with mine. I took it apart once and cleaned and lubricated everything, which helped a lot. It could use a more comfortable hand hold (maybe rubber grips like a garden tool) but that would also make it a bit bulkier.

That's what I was thinking of, something more 'ergonomic'.

I started with a Lee hand press, but later switched to a Huntington Compac hand press. It has dual handles that worked better for me. Plus I mounted it to a small circle of wood so that it will stand up on its own if I need both hands for something else for a bit. It takes a bit of getting used to to handle bullets in between the guide rods, but it works very well.

I'll bet after that many loads with that contraption, you guys have hands like an old time dairy farmer.
