May 26th at Water and Wings Shooting range in East Greenville PA. Its right outside of Quakertown about 45min from Philadelphia. There Website is http://www.WaterandWings.com for directions. They have a 500yd rifle range 50yd pistol range and a Sporting Clays range also. It only going to cost you $15 to shoot all day at the rifle and pistol range. I'm going to stick to May 26th date unless I get Too many Nays from you guys so give me a head count!

OK the date is perfect for me. Even if it wasn't I would find a way to get there.

ArmySon ...If you don't show up this time we will hunt you down and...and.. and pull out every hair on your head

OK you humps. Lets go! Get yourselves together and plan to go.

Hello!

Anybody alive out there in PA?

I know about the Pennsylvania Dutch and not using electricity and all, but some of you must be logging on?

Jeez, what is it about the Northeast anyway?

Anyone is welcome! Even Newbies!! I've posted at a few other places and emailed a bunch of people and gotten good responses. Sorry to hear you can't make it Justin!
There are a bunch of guys over at FNFAL.com that are interested in going. It seems there are a lot of matches going on next month but I'm sticking to May 26th.

I don't know if I can make it that weekend yet. I think we have a fishing tournament that weekend. I'll double check tomorrow to be sure.

You can call for directions at Water and Wings there website has there phone number. Its literally like 3 miles west of the Quakertown exit on the Turnpike. I am having trouble posting over at FnFal.com but there a bunch of guys near Harrisburg that are interested in going. I have 5 friends that said they were going and I'm trying to pursuade my girfriend to bring some of her friends up. Its a nice place to hang out at for the day. They have a snack bar and 50cent soda YEHAAA!!!

Fishing tournament!!!

ArmySon

I find it hard to believe that someone would go Fishing rather than shooting

Next you will be telling us yu are going to a GOLF tournament.

Geoff Ross

PS I saw the thread in glock talk, it was supposed to be slightly humorous. Of course I would not condone violence against any member of TFL, unless they go fishing or play golf when they should be shooting

Well I'll get there around 10am and it ends around sunset. I'd say between 10am and 1pm should be good. I finally got threw at FNFAL.com and got two guys that said they'll come. Were in the double digits now so keep spreading the word.
They do have a snack bar there so you can eat and chill out inside if its really hot. Somebody has to bring a pickup truck so we can drive down to the 500yd targets. THEY LET YOU DRIVE TO CHANGE YOUR TARGETS!!! Its pretty funny but its better than walking.

Good 2 more!!! No Dead I have never heard of it? I have one guy over at 1911Forum that said he'll defanitely come and he lives within walking distance. Even if its overcast you can still shoot there and stay dry they have a nice setup even in bad weather. So no chickening out!! Does anyone have a Digital Camera????? Justin brought one last time but he's not coming and it would be nice if somebody could take pictures.

So what are you guys going to be bringing? I'll probable bring my Colt1991A1,Mini 14,SKS, and hopefully my FAL if its gets back from DSA in time. They recalled the gun because the ATF changed there minds on the muzzle break

Targets?

Ok soda and you other guys. What kind of targets are available at the range?

Do I need to bring my own targets? What kind of target frames does the range have? What do they allow? Full silouette or just bullseye targets?

Can I bring my own or do I have to buy at the range?

I have never shot at 500 meters, what kind of target do I need for this I am damn sure going to try my 30-06 at this range. May not hit anything but it will be fun to try.

Hope I do not have to go home with unfired ammo like last time.
