Approximate Manufacture Date of S&W

I am trying to find out roughly when my S&W Model 27-2 .357 Magnum was manufactured (though exact date would be better). Serial is N163XXX. Thanks for any help!

The series is 1972-1974 N60001-N190000 per Standard Catalog.
