For those who care to respond:
How many local cowboy shoots do you attend on average in a one year period?
How far do you have to travel one way?
How many annual cowboy shoots do you attend in the same period?
How far have you traveled to an annual shoot?
How long have you been shooting Cowboy action?

I'll even start............

I usually get to about 10 local shoots a year with two or three different clubs.

I travel 115 to 120 miles one way.

I try to make 2 annual shoots.

250 miles one way is about as far as I have gone.

I've been shooting Cowboy action since 1995.

Okay...Who's next??????????

Howdy TJ,

I go to three shoots a month, average. This month I'll have gone to five shoots when all is said and done. So,about 36 shoots a year.

The farthest I drive,or ride,is about 4 hours from my house, one way,so that makes for a long day.

I attended two annual shoots last year, but both were within 2 hours of my house-The Shootout at Mule Camp and the GA State SASS Championship.

I've been shooting CAS for nearly two years.

Bellicose Bill

I shoot 2 or 3 CAS matches a month, ok somtimes 4, but rarely!!!!, with only an ocassional IPSC match. I include IPSC as I shoot a Vaquero in Ipsc wearing full cowboy outfit. I'm in charge of all the ranges in my club, so they have to put up with me as long as I follow their rules. It's a two hour round trip for me to the Cherokee Gun Club [my home range]. I also set up the matches the day before. Your moderator old what's his name, has been helping me set those matches up since he started. By the way, that same un-named moderator is going to be one of my 2 deputy Range Masters at Mule Camp 2000.
I only shoot 5 or 6 annual matches. Living in GA the farthest for me is EOT. This year the farthest I'll go is Fredricksburg TX.
I started shooting and setting up CAS matches in 1989 and have shot in them ever since. I really enjoy it.

I shoot 3 local matches a month, sometimes 4, so I shoot about 36 a year. I get the privilege of shooting most of those matches with Bellicose Bill & Joe West.
The farthest monthly match I go to is about 3 1/2 hours drive, one way.

I attend 2 Annual matches within 1 1/2 hour drive from my house. Mule Camp & the GA. State Championship.

Furthest annual match that I have attended was The Last Stand in Orlando Fl. about an 8 hour drive from Atlanta.

I've been shooting Cowboy matches since March of '98.

I shoot between two and five cowboy matches a month depending on how they fall. I have thus far not been to any annual matches. I am willing to drive two hours one way to get to a match. I shot in twenty two matches last year. Mostly in Kentucky and Ohio.
