I'm flabergasted that the officer actually let the perp go back to his truck and watched him load his rifle. His inaction let it turn into a gunfight when he had plenty of time to stop it from going there.
I truly feel bad for the officer and his family, it's quite apparent that he wasn't cut out for the job.
