M/L caps and primers ???
Read on the internet that part of that one factor, in the shortage of #11 caps, is that ignition powder is being used quite heavily in modern cartidges and that eventually we will see more caps on the market. ....
 If this is true, are the powders in caps and 209-primers, corrosive? So even if you just pop a cap, should we clean out their residue. My thinking is yes but not as bad as "all" M/L main charge M/L propellants. .....  What say ... Y'all ??? Be Safe !!!

Modern percussion caps use lead styphnate which is non corrosive.
