Sign of Excessive pressure?
Piece of bolt handle in your forehead, and splinters in your hands. Definitely too hot.
Seriously, I ran some 223 55 H335, stepped min to max using Lee's volumetric settings, and not using a scale. I have been using that method with a number of powders, with great results! With H335, the recoil was noticeable and about 7% cratered, and perforated the primers. Some would not slide into the Hornady shellholder, but did fit into another shell holder. I think my H335 is most likely hotter, or more dense, than when Lee made their volume chart. I just full length sized them with no abnormalities.
