Age of my Savage

can anyone tell me how to find the date my savage model 6a .22 was made basically i don't want to send money to some historian just to find the date so any help would be much appreciated

Go to www.savageshooters.net and in the forum you will find a rimfire section for your rifle. Somebody there will give you a hand. Tell 'em Coop sent you!!
